Cuti Terakhirku....

Cuti semester kali ini ku kirakan sebagai cuti panjang terakhirku. Lepas 2 Januari 2008 nanti, aku bakal menjejakkan kaki ke dalam arena kerjaya, yang sememangnya amat terkenal dengan sifatnya yang "kedekut cuti". Lainlah kalau aku jadi cikgu, tapi mustahil, baik aku sambung masters pastu jadi pensyarah, drp terseksa jadi cikgu!!

Sorilah pasal aku pun dah lama x blog. Ini pun aku blog kat dlm KFC pasal ada WIFI free. Aku punya Internet Celcom dah aku terminate, pasal dah tak mampu nak bayaq. Yelah, dulu aku perlukan internet pasal nak buat thesis, la ni, thesis pun dah siap, markah pun dah dapat, nak buat apa lagi mobile internet kan??!! Kalau takat nak blogging ni...kat KFC pun bole...Klu orang lain boleh online kat Starbucks, aku KFC...kelas....

Cakap pasal result... sememangnya aku dah redha. Walaupun aku dapat banyak A...(paling banyak dalam sejarah aku) tapi pasal kelekaan aku, aku gagal mengekalkan CGPA yang baik... sedih tapi nak buat cam na, benda dah jadi...bukan aku ada time machine cam doremon nak ubah balik benda yg dah jadi. So redha dan sabar. Bak kata Helmi, "Tak bermakna kalau gagal sekali akan gagal selamanya, tapi hang tuh gagal pasal tak p exam, BODOH!!". heheh, aku pun gelak bila ingat balik kata-kata Helmi tuh.

Oh ya... aku pun ada gak call-call eddy, tanyakan khabar... alhamdulillah, dia sihat dan stabil. So kita banyak2 doa ramai untuk dia ok!! Insyaallah, nnti aku minta Ku aturkan majlis semahyang hajat, so nnti aku contact korang (BJ6B), ok!!

So sekarang aku dah komfem start keja dgn TMR 2 January nnti, so nntikan la kemunculan byline aku yek! (The Malaysian Reserve boleh didapati di semua kedai2 suratkhabar dan majalah serta kedai serbaneka terpilih, harap maklum!)

Get in Touch!!

Internet Celcom kat umah aku mlm ni memang slow nak mampus, ntah pasal apa. Btw, dah nak masuk 5 hari aku ada kat alor staq ni. so far, xda menda sangat yg aku buat kat umah pun. Cuma tadi aku p keluaq dgn su and bal, buat planning nak pi bbq dgn member2 PKSN yang lain. Aku mmg dah lama menyepikan diri dengan member2 PKSN ni. tapi depa still keep in touch sesama depa.

Soal kes keep in touch ni, mmg aku fail sket. Contohnya, aku dengan member2 kat st. michael dulu pun dah lama x contact, especially budak2 yang satu kelas dengan aku. Yang last skali aku jumpa, waktu mlm Syarikin nak kahwin-tu pun depa yg ajak lepak kat Nasmir Spg Kuala.

Sama juga dengan member2 aku waktu OPKIM dengan bebudak ITM Penang last sem... langsung x keep in touch. Dengan family angkat pun lansung x contact. Geng2 sekelas aku kat Kolej pun sama gak. In fact ada yg aku dah lupa nama and rupa depa!!

Baru aku sedaq yang aku ni...malas nak keep in touch dengan orang. Aku hanya keep in touch baik dengan orang2 yang rapat dengan aku, or orang2 yang ada di sekeliling aku sahaja. Aku pun x ada extra effort nak sms untuk tanya khabar org2 yg dah lama aku contact.

Kadang2 aku malas nak join member2 aku lepak kat luaq... ntah jadi cam na ntah... jadi malas. (For some reason, hanya ashwad paham!!)

Pastu lani aku lagi malas nak kluaq rumah... pasal xda mood nak kluaq. Yelah, after wut happened to me and Ku recently, mmg aku malas langung nak buat apa pun!!

SO APA KERJA AKU KAT UMAH?? As you all know, TIDO!! tapi diselitkan dengan main internet (yg slow siput babi), tgk tv,baca novel isa kamari yg buat2 sedey (CEH!!) and habiskan readers' digest yang mak aku subscribe!!

Actually aku tingin gak nak tulis buku...tapi x tau apa nak tulis, tajuk apa? subject apa?... aku dah bincang dengan Bal dah...pasal dia pun ada cakap ngan aku dulu yang dia berminat nak menulis, so aku pun bagi la idea ni (pasal nak tulis buku) kat dia. So far, bal pun jadi cam aku, xda idea.!!

So ... bagi mereka yang di luaq sana... ada idea?? share lah!!

OK...i have all day to write a publish a post. But I dont know what to write...pathetic ait?? Hmm..

Walaupun sad, tapi ending yang baik...

Aku ke The Malaysian Reserve (TMR - I hope this acronym does not spoil the branding!!) di Section 13 PJ dan bertemu dengan editornya, Encik Halim petang tadi. Well, it is a small newsroom compared to RTM or maybe any other big organization and the staff also is not that ramai but it is "ok". Alhamdullilah, aku akan start training kat sana bulan January ni dan sekiranya semuanya berjalan lancar, maka lancarlah ia. Ada juga En Halim minta aku start bulan 12, tapi yelah, bagai nak dikata, my budget is veryyy tight and I cant stay here in KL/SA/Klang for long. I need to retreat to AS as soon as possible.

Btw, the editor has a very high expectation on me and I hope I am up to the standard as he always mentioned that his reporters are very hardworking and never needed to be asked to do things...., to work I mean!!

Well I looked at the mirror and did my self-reflexion. The things happened to me recently really change the course of my life. Before, it always been smooth but I took it for granted... After things happened, then I realized, life doesn't always goes as planned. It had it sourness and the sky will never stay blue, because it will turn dark sometimes.

Things happened to me and things happening to Eddy really knocked my head and woke me from my sweet dreams.

After seeing En Halim at the newsroom, he sent me off to Asia Jaya LRT station and then I ran as quickly as possible to Pudu to say good bye to Eddy. I do not know when can I meet him again. So after the good-bye hug, I went back up to the terminal and started to remember my early times in UiTM. And started to shed my tears sambil terus kawal macho...

You know what, and maybe, most of you do not know, living and staying in my faculty is a "harsh" survival. Bukan calang2 orang boleh survive dalam fakulti ni. Put aside the mountains of assignments, the most challenging is the "people"!!

What I can summarize is that during my first semester here.... Everybody, including me, trying not to be hypocrite and trying to be ourselves but in the end "we" end up being "show-off". Showing off that we are "urban" and not "KG dot", or .... talking in the language that we don't really understand-loghat KL I mean. Trying to get along with our click or in-group, with our own identities which finally...do not matter anymore - (actually it is not suppose to be "we" but the subject is "ME"... tapi klu tukar subject, bunyi cam x sedap...)

Bak kata pepatah... plastik

Tapi, bila tiadanya plastik maka...perpecahan dan pergaduhan mula berlaku...

Bila semuanya dah berakhir, lepas habis semester ke5, aku kira walaupun ia sad ending, tapi ending yang baik.

Im still not sure whether to start my "so - called" job at The Malaysian Reserve (TMR) on December or January. There are many considerations to make!! Haiyahhh... (STRESS lagi).

Month of Birthday

Before we end this month, the month of October, I would like to wish a very happy birth-month (if not birthday) to Nor and Ashwad. (U both do not know each other, never mind nanti kite kenal kenal kan) and most importantly ... HAPPY BIRTH-MONTH to me!!

Tapi xpe la. Kali ni aku nak share satu lagu klasik yg baru2 ni aku aku minat. Ni semua pasal pak cik aku yg duduk kat Seksyen 13 tu la. Dia ada beli CD compilation Sudirman. And on of track entitled "Bercanda Di Pasiran Pantai". Dulu waktu kecik2 dulu, I found it quit sexy and sumhow lucah, tapi sekarang... cam best giler. Aku masuk Youtube, dok asyik replay je lagu tu.

Aku paling suka dia punya lirik. Puitis giler. Tapi sejak bila aku jadi mamat puitis ni??!! Btw, ni dia punya video klip.

Balik Ke UiTM Lepas 1 Minggu Beraya

Seminggu aku beraya kat Alor Staq. Kalau nak diikutkan, mmg rasa masa yang aku dah spent tu melayang macam tu... saja. Yelah...assigmnet, project and thesis aku belambak lagi x habis. Preparation untuk exam bahasa Italy pun x buat lagi. Hai hai hai...problem2.!!

Tapi sebenarnya rasa amat x best untuk balik ke Shah Alam. Rasa cam down giler!! ntah pasal apa!??!!. I wonder, mcm mana la si Su tu dok tunggu masa nak boarding...mesti down giler 2 3 kali ganda drp aku kan??!!

OOh ooh lupa nak cakap, aku sekarang sedang menungu waktu untuk boarding di Gate 2, Lapangan Terbang Sultan Abdul Halim, Alor Star. Ini kali pertama aku guna airport ni. Airport ni baru siap dalam 2 3 tahun dulu. Kalau compare dengan airport lama, airport ni way much better la.

Nanti aku upload gambar. Try nak upload, tapi ntah pasal pa ntah, x leh nak upload.

Aku sekarang atas highway. Dalam keta proton saga abang aku, dengan kelajuan 110 km/j.. Mlm ni aku nak balik kampung untuk menyambut hari raya di Alor Star. Sambil2 tu, aku akan buat gak assigment aku yg belambak hak!! Hahaha... Kalau dulu, apa yg aku ok buat sekarag ni adalah miracle. Tapi kini tidak lagi, dengan teknologi wireles broadband dari Celcom!! hahahah!! Aku akan duduk selama seminggu kat A.S pastu akan balik ke kl Rabu minggu depan!!

Celcom Broadband

Aku dah aktifkan broadband 3G Celcom aku dgn bayaran RM68/bulan. Hmm... agak slow... dgn hanya 1++ kilobyte per second (Lokasi: FKTM, UiTM Malaysia) berbanding jalur lebar yang free kat fac aku ni...yg selaju 100 mega byte per second. 10 kali ganda kelajuan. Tapi yelah,,,benda free ni bukan ada kat umah aku!!! Jadi kena redha ja la..

Keeping tabs: Malaysian Mission programme director and flight surgeon Kol Dr Zulkefli Jusoh checking on Dr Sheikh Muszaphar in Kazakhstan recently.“Russia does not see him as a mere passenger to the International Space Station (ISS). He is a researcher. The experiments he will carry out were discussed between Russia and Malaysia. “We don’t consider him as a space tourist but a full-fledge cosmonaut,” he said in an interview at the Russian embassy here. Recently, it was reported that Nasa had listed Malaysia’s two Angkasawans as space flight participants and not as astronauts for the ISS mission 16. This led to several reports here doubting the status of the Angkasawan. Describing the cynics as possessing “logical myopia,” he said that during the medieval period, there were also critics who doubted the European quests to seek new territories, claiming it a waste of money. “Yet in the end, it was those who went beyond the known worlds who reaped political and economic benefits. “Now we must seek new territories in space,” he said, adding that the Angkasawan had an important job to do, carrying out vital scientific experiments to benefit Malaysia and the world. To those calling it the Govern-ment’s “waste of money,” Karchava explained that the Russian government would foot the bill to send the Malaysian cosmonaut to space, as an offset deal for Malaysia’s purchase of its Sukhoi fighter jets. He noted that even before the Oct 10 launch, Malaysia and Russia had already planned mutual projects, namely Malaysian scientists involved in the National Space Programme had been invited to propose experiments on Russian volunteers undergoing simulation exercises for the Mars exploration project. Past collaboration included Malaysia’s first satellite TiungSat launched by a Russian rocket, which had opened the door for the launch of RazakSat next year. In defence aviation, Malaysia had purchased Russia’s MiG29 fighter jets in 1994 and the Sukhoi jets in 2003. “Your Angkasawan will create history for Malaysia and his achievement will be the national pride and install Malaysia as a member of the Space Club. “To appreciate this, you cannot confine yourself to your kampung. Malaysians have gone places and will go places, even to space,” said the diplomat who speaks fluent Bahasa Indonesia.

Congratulation to Dr. Sheikh for being selected as the first Malaysian to be at the outter space. Not just the first Malaysian, but also the first South east Asian and maybe also the first Malay to reach our outter atmostphere, the karman line.

I have naver show my interest in this national preject before but this doesnt mean that I never follow the journey of the history in the making.

Tomorrow I will have to submit my article t Dr. Murad. His asked us to right any article realted to science and technology in Malaysia and after a lot of consideration and brain work out, i finally chosed the "Program Angkasawan Negara" as my subject.

As im doing my research on the net...i went to the angkasawan negara official website, I did some copy and paste...(which they say plagiat) and I read some of blog postings by Dr. Sheikh.

Ala-ala syahdu gak mamat ni menulis.

Then I googled up more blogs ... to find out the other version of the story.... jeng4!!! you know what i found out??

Some of the opposition bloggers argued that the angkasawan negara program is not supposed to be call program angkasawan... but program pelancongan angkasa!!

Try look at the pic's cutline which I copied from jomkahwin, they named dr. shiekh just as the spaceflight participant, not an astronout.

According to my sources, this picture was taken and published by an American news agency. Wikipedia defines spaceflight participant as a participant in "space tourism".

Somebody should clarify this...

Dan pemenangnya ialah....

Shah Alam (3 Okt 2007) - Seperti yang dijangka, satu-satunya calon Jawatankuasa Perwakilan Pelajar (JPP) Lina berjaya memperoleh kememenangan atas salah atu kerusi kabinet JPP UiTM Malaysia.

Lina yang ditemui ketika melobi sehari sebelum pilihanraya berjanji akan membuat perubahan di fakulti ini.

"Saya akan suarakan ketidakpuasan hati anda dan sila beritahu saya sekiranya anda mempunyai masalah," katanya ketika menjawab pertanyaan pra-wartawan BJ5B.

Namun, apabila ditanya mengenai masalah berkaitan petempatan pelajar untuk latihan pratikal, beliau menjawab ia di luar pengetahuannya dan tidak mempu memberi respon lanjut.

Turut bernasib baik ialah Arif lantas berjaya mematahkan dan mematikan niat Irshad untuk bergelar Abang MPP.

Walau bagaimanapun, jumlah majoriti undian tidak dapat dipastikan.

Irshad yang hanya mampu tersenyum ketika ditanya mengenai keputusan pilihanraya dan mengikut tradisi, calon JPP yang gagal akan menganggotai seketariat JPP.

Bila ketiga-tiga MPP WANNABE dari kelas yang sama...apa jadi?

Hari ini berlansung pilihanraya jawatankuasa perwakilan pelajar (JPP) bagi setiap universiti di Malaysia dan UiTM Malaysia tidak terkecuali. Berlainan dari tahun-tahun terdahulu di mana calon-calon yang bertanding paling sikit pun dalam 5 orang, tapi untuk tahun ini, hanya 3 orang sahaja calon yang bertanding. Ironinya ketiga-tiga datang dari kelas yang sama. Tapi tak payah lah saya cakap mereka ini dari kelas mana, pasal mesti ramai yang dah tau kan??!!

This means if one then lose, there will still be another 2 mpp from than class than will represent our faculty to the campus level. I had a short acquittance with them during a foster parents project last year and alhamdullilah they are very nice people.

However, not many of us realize the power that "these group of people" will gain tremendous political proxy in the faculty. Just imagine at least 2 of their classmates are holding high position is Mass Communication Society with one of them is the President. (You know who...), and another 3 are running for the election!!

But don't look this negatively. Of course as a journalist I love to write something fishy and sensation like this story... but as I say, don't look this negatively.

As many of us are too busy with our class and assignments there are still somebody out there are willing enough to take the responsibilities and ensuring our faculty are representatedin the campus level. And for sure, being a President of MASSA or MPP are note easy. There are so many tasks that an MPP need to fulfill during his or her service as an MPP.

Hmm...kenapa aku slalu sangat sibuk?

Here is the chronology;

30/8/2007 - sambutan ambang merdeka di putrajaya. sleep over kat rumah Azneal percint 11 (kot ke percint 9...aku dah confuse bayk sangat percint).

31/8/2007 - berlepas ke penang untuk bengkel YPM-ETS. Ada lagi kerja yang tak siap untuk bengkel esok. so tak leh tido walaupun penat, buat kerja lagi.

1/9/2007 - Bengkel YPM-ETS, dari pukul 8.00a.m sampai 5.00pm di SMK Mutiara APetahhh kat Batu Kawan. Bertugas sebagai Fasi cum urusetia cum PR cum MC.

1/9/2007 - Habis program, jumpa Pak Chaq Khairol (Naib Johan Mencari Cinta, TV3) dan isterinya, Aunty Jaja kat Oldtown, AutoCity.- thanks 4 the treat.

1/9/2007 - Drive balik from Bukit Merah ke Shah Alam pasal Makcik a.k.a boss dah ngantuk giler and dah xleh drive!!

2/9/2007 - sampai shah alam. tido sampai kul 12 tghari.

2/9/2007 - kul 3 ptg, pg ke muzium kesenian islam, KL dengan Ku for a site visit.

2/9/2007 - kul 8 mlm, I went to my Italian class, until 10 pm.
